The Marketing Environment

Companies all over different markets have to adapt to the environment in order for the business to succeed. The environment changes all the time and there are different effects of competitive, economic, political, and technological factors on marketing strategies. Businesses need to be competitive within the environment. A great example would be the car industry in which more companies are developing more green cars and the demand from people is increasing as well. People want to save money on gas and they are turning to hybrid cars. The environment will be helped greatly by these vehicles. The political effects in the environment is that there are standards for polution and business need to keep up to these standards or else they will be fined. The companies need to make sure they are responsible so there customers will trust them.

If companies did not care about the marketing environment would people still value there product and continue to buy it?

Four P's and their elements

The four P's as we all know consist of the product, place, promotion, and price. The product would be selling yourself to a company or business. By doing that you could discuss your features, style, and quality to show how efficient you are. By putting yourself on the market you are open to different channels of opportunities. This leads to the next P which is place, in which from those channels you will be hired for a business in which you will recieve your location. By getting an opportunity with a company or business that you choose you can move up within the company. Promotion is the next goal of moving up in a company. You can accomplish selling yourself by proving yourself in the field that to move up in the company. Try and get to know as many people as possible to open your connections and promote yourself. The last P would be price which would be the price you feel that would be appropriate for your job position. There you would retain a salary most likely in the price you want to be paid as well as all of your vacation time. Those are the four P's that are important to being successful in the market when you get out of college.
